At the Victorian Dermal Group, our clinicians focus on a technology-first approach to skin care. We're passionate, experienced, and trained in treating all skin concerns — from melasma and hyperpigmentation, to acne scarring and laser hair removal.
Your skin comes first. We don't perform a service without first assessing your skin with our clinical imagining system. Visit our clinic in Kew to be on your way to better skin, today.
Our Kew clinic was founded in 2012 to offer dermal clinician services to the people of Melbourne. Since then, we have expanded to address all kinds of skin concerns with evidence-based treatments.
Our staff are highly trained and specialise in treating a wide range of skin issues.
We use industry-leading medical-grade laser technology to treat skin conditions.
Our clinically-proven products help our clients get the absolute best results.
We're located on the corner of Princess Street and Studley Park Road, in Kew. When you arrive, walk through the foyers and take the lift up to level 2. Here, you'll find us in Suite 206.
When you arrive, we'll ask you to fill out form detailing your medical history and lifestyle. Then, you'll be invited into a clinician's room to discuss your particular skin concerns. We'll use our diagnostic imaging technology to view your skin up close, through different filters, then discuss our findings with you. When you leave, you'll have a clear treatment plan, tailored to you and your skin.
- A word from our founders
When you have your consultation, we'll ask about your medical and skin history. We need to know what kind of medication you've been on, or are currently taking, as these can sometimes interfere with our treatments.
We will assess your skin, and create a specialised treatment plan for you. Sometimes, this can involve one treatment, or dual treatments — depending on your concerns, and particular skin type. And your consultation fee is redeemable on your treatments.
After your consultation, you'll have the opportunity to book your service. We'll send you home with comprehensive pre-treatment information. These will differ depending on the treatment you are receiving.
You'll arrive on the day, and we'll perform the treatment. Again, in many cases you may not be able to return to work straight away. It's best if you take the day off, or receive your treatment in the afternoon so you can go straight home afterwards.
After your treatment, you'll need to avoid sun exposure. We recommend using SPF sunscreen every day, beneath your usual makeup. We will give you more advice on aftercare solutions, plus skin care products which will help aid your recovery.
We'll give you a follow-up call a week or so after your treatment, to check in with you. If you have any questions or concerns prior to this time, you can always email or phone us. We're more than happy to help.

We're open:
Yes. We don't take walk-ins, as we are usually fully booked. You can make an appointment online for an initial skin consultation, or you can phone us directly.
While we do charge a fee for our consultations, this amount is redeemable as a discount on your treatment. We'll also give you a detailed plan outlining the skin treatments we recommend for your unique situation. You can choose whether to book a treatment or service while you're at the clinic (appointment times are rare for the same-day) or choose to go home and think about your options.
For more information, please contact us.
Your clinician will show you through to the treatment rooms at the time of your appointment. But if it is your first consultation, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to fill out the medical and lifestyle forms.
Please keep in mind, treatment sessions occasionally run over time, but you won't be left waiting for too long. We appreciate your patience if this occurs.
