The benefits of crow’s feet injections

Crow’s feet aren’t exclusively a sign of ageing. The quality of our skin and the appearance of lines and wrinkles can be affected by stress, pollution, sun exposure and several other factors. We treat crow’s feet not only to fight ageing, but to restore confidence.

Restore eye volume and skin texture

Crow’s feet injections can plump up sagging skin around the eyes and temples by introducing hyaluronic acid to replace lost moisture and stimulate collagen production.

Crow’s feet injections can plump up sagging skin around the eyes and temples. These injections introduce hyaluronic acid into the skin's tissue to replace lost moisture and stimulate collagen production, which helps to improve overall texture and volume. Regular treatments allow crow’s feet to be avoided altogether or reduced significantly.

How crow's feet treatment works

We treat crow’s feet by injecting hyaluronic acid directly into the tissue beneath the wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body, where it is typically used to keep tissue well-moisturised. The acid will be well-received by your body, and the dermal filler will also promote a temporary boost in collagen production around the injection site.

After the injection, the dermal filler will settle evenly around the treatment area, raising the crow’s feet and any other fine lines and wrinkles. By being extremely judicious with our filler injections, we avoid an over-plumped look and any undue discomfort.

How It Works

Why would someone need crow’s feet injectables?

There are several reasons why people may choose to have their crow’s feet treated with dermal fillers.

These particular wrinkles tend to be one of the earliest symptoms of ageing skin due to the lack of fat and tissue around the eye and temple. However, they can also be caused by environmental factors, such as pollution, sun exposure, diet, or genetics.

While these wrinkles have several causes, we’ve found that, ultimately, our clients simply want to feel more confident in their skin.

We do not judge our clients, whatever their reason for seeking treatment.

Treating crow’s feet on the day

Your crow’s feet filler appointment will last approximately an hour. Before we begin, we’ll once more talk through the specifics of the procedure so that you know precisely what to expect.

The procedure is quite gentle and relatively painless. If you are uncomfortable with the sensation of injections, we can apply a topical numbing cream to the injection point.

Once the procedure is complete, we will ask you to remain at our clinic for a brief observation period to ensure there are no adverse effects. Such effects are highly unlikely.

On the day

Caring for your skin after your crow’s feet injections

You will need to take gentle care of your skin after your treatment to minimise healing time.

  • Wash your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser, avoiding the area around the injection sites.
  • Never apply heat or laser treatments to the injection sites until completely healed.
  • Always wear sunscreen to protect your skin's injected and non-injected areas from sun damage.
  • Make sure to gently apply moisturiser twice daily, as this will encourage hydration.

20-30 years old

Regarding crow’s feet injections, the most suitable candidates are typically in their 20s or 30s. For those in this age range, a one-time injection can help to stop the development of wrinkles and fine lines in areas around their eyes. This type of treatment is often sought by young people wanting to prevent premature aging and maintain a youthful look and overall appearance.

40-50 years old

As an effective anti-wrinkle treatment, crow’s feet injections are suitable for those in their 40s and 50s; the dynamic wrinkles around the eyes generally manifest at this age and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are anti-wrinkle injections for crow’s feet?

Anti-wrinkle injections are a cosmetic procedure designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, also known as crow’s feet. This non-surgical procedure involves carefully injecting targeted facial muscles with a specialised solution that prevents targeted muscle contraction and relaxes the skin, allowing for smoother and softer skin. Crows feet treated with anti-wrinkle injections can minimise eye wrinkles for up to four months.

How many injections are required for crow's feet?

To reduce the appearance of crow’s feet, most patients require multiple sessions of hyaluronic acid fillers injected into the areas of concern. Each session generally requires two injections per side, meaning that four injections are typically required per treatment session.

However, it is essential to note that numbers can vary depending on an individual's skin condition and depth of wrinkles. The number of treatments needed may also differ from patient to patient.

Where are the best injection sites for crow’s feet?

The best injection sites for crow’s feet are in front of and behind the orbital rim of the eye and following along the lower eyelid region. Subsequently, injections can move outwards to treat any remaining wrinkles creeping up near the temples.
